Once upon a time, there was a young boy who lived in a village with his family. The boy was a bit mischievous, and he loved to play pranks on his neighbors. He was also a shepherd, and he took care of the village's sheep.
One day, while he was watching the sheep, he got bored and decided to play a trick on the villagers. He shouted, "Wolf! Wolf!" as loud as he could. The villagers heard him and rushed to the field to save the sheep. However, when they arrived, they found out that it was just a prank.
The boy found the villagers' reaction funny, so he decided to do it again. The next day, he shouted, "Wolf! Wolf!" once again, and the villagers came running to help. But, when they arrived, they found out that it was just another prank.
The villagers got angry with the boy, but he didn't care. He thought it was amusing to watch them panic over nothing. The boy continued to play this trick on the villagers every day, and they grew tired of his pranks.
One day, while the boy was watching the sheep, a real wolf appeared. The boy shouted, "Wolf! Wolf!" as he did before, but this time the villagers didn't come. They thought it was just another one of his pranks. Unfortunately, the wolf attacked the sheep, and the boy couldn't save them.
The villagers found out what had happened and were angry with the boy. They scolded him for lying and causing them to lose their sheep. From that day forward, the boy realized that lying had severe consequences, and he promised never to lie again.
The moral of the story is that it's not good to lie, even if it's just a harmless prank. People might not believe you when you tell the truth, and you could lose their trust forever.
